Our website is less than a week old, and is still

under construction.

Bide A Wee Homes is situated just off the Blue Ridge Parkway
in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina near Boone, North Carolina, the southernmost ski
resort in the eastern United States. It's an area of great beauty, great climate, and good folk.

Bide A Wee Homes specializes in building custom Tiny Homes on wheels. Our homes are stick built, just like a home on a foundation: sturdily made to last a lifetime! Our homes are made of only the highest quality materials sourced here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The homes are built right here by dedicated local craftsmen.

Our homes are turnkey, fully move-in ready. They are furnished, all appliances are there, and niceties like a high definition widescreen TV and a small surround sound home theater system complete the set up. All you have to add is you, your clothes and things like toiletries, pots and pans and dishes. This gives you a home ready to live in within a matter of minutes! A home that moves avoids property taxes, another VERY nice feature!

Our homes include instant hot water and a very capable Pioneer Inverter heat pump heating and cooling system with a convenient remote control. The home pictured has top quality Red Oak hardwood flooring end to end. The bathroom has a ceramic tile floor and impermeable, sound proofed walls. An optional window high up on the exterior wall provides natural ambient lighting. The bathroom has light, heat and a quiet exhaust fan that exhausts to the outside of the home. It features lighted ceiling fans and has exterior lighting for security and safety. It has standard hookups for water, power and waste.

Our homes come with a home warranty included for a full year that can be extended as long as you like through a nationwide home warranty specialist.



Our building materials are sourced right here in Watauga County, North Carolina: spruce, pine, oak, cedar. Well,
the roofing is imported from Georgia... Solidly constructed, well insulated, the homes are STICK BUILT - just like
a regular home! Except, of course, they go where you want them!
